The Annoying Annual Update: Merry Christmas 2023

Mawm has been super busy with her career as a funeral director. She went back to work for Premier Funeral Services in 2022. Taking care of the physical body of the recently departed & helping families is what brings her a sense of accomplishment. It takes her mind off the huge empty spot in her heart.
I spend my long days home alone watching birdies out the window, napping, and grazing on bits of kibble. Mawm says I am fluffy, she is too polite to call me fat.
My hooman sisters both got married this year. My hooman brother is engaged. Mawm has five grandsons that she tries to spend time with outside of her busy work schedule. They terrify me though, they are loud, rambunctious boys.
As for the journey of a different life, we are well on our way. As much as I don’t like change I suppose it’s the gist of life.
