Tom, Are You Listening?

I don't know if I can do this. The pain is unbearable. I wake up thinking of you. I whisper your name. I go to bed thinking of you. I tell you goodnight.

Since there are 1,440 minutes in a 24-hour day, I know I think of you at least 800 times a day. I speak to you. Most days, I feel you here with me. I ask for signs from you, and I receive them, gratefully, with tears.
